This is a completely enclosed space, surrounded by tall brick walls on all sides. A brick mosaic pathway is already in place, bordered by light gravel on either side. The surrounding building height creates a sheltered suntrap, making the area warm and protected throughout the day.

These conditions make it ideally suited to a Mediterranean-style garden, with a central fountain acting as a focal point. A planting plan was developed in response to the existing layout and footprint of the space.
