Being as this bed is situated on a main road and acting as a the first visuals of the estate it sits on, it needed to be clean and have year round interest while not being too distracting from drivers on the road.

The back drop of existing large trees shelters this bed from sun for the majority of the day so the decision for an array of ornamental grasses gives this bed constant coverage in an otherwise tricky spot.
